Oh so pretty. I planted one from WalMart last year. It of course did not bloom, or even grow for that matter. I thought for sure that it would never come back. But, it did and it's climbing like crazy! It hasn't even started to bud yet but we are pretty far north so I don't expect it to for a while yet. Your's are beautiful. I love that dark purple color.

That is one pretty clematis.
What a lovely blossom! I wonder if this plant would grow in Southern California?
