Wagon Wheel

We took a weekend trip to McCall this weekend.
There is a old fashion 'little house on the praire' type town
just outside of Donnley
called Rosemary.
There they have a museum
& a few old buidlings with neat old
farm equipment.
I just love it there as reminds me of
my grandpa & grandma's farm
back in South Dakota.
I think that is where i get my love of old
barns & equipment from.

Love how the wheel has caught bits of snow. ;-)

The wheel spokes look like ray symbols of the sun on the snow! Great in monochrome!

The wheel makes a really fine subject at any time - but the snow gives it the added lift, enhancing contrast. Great stuff.

Both shots are wonderful, but there's something I really love about the soft focus of the second one.

I too love old cart wheels, you would have a job to find one here,
and if you did they would want the earth for it...lol
Great Mono...

I love these shots. My great grandparents had a farm and I also have an association with old farm equipment and them. I find old wagon wheels and barns and other equipment to be very beautiful.

The snow on the wheel is beautiful. Wheels are a great design anyway- love their shapes.
