I love forsythias and look forward to them every spring. Mine have almost finished blooming for this year, and I enjoyed seeing yours. They're very pretty!
My forsythia has yet to bloom. Caldwell, Idaho I used to visit cousins in Caldwell and grandparents in Mountain Home, but that was back in the sixties and seventies.
Mine is nowhere near ready to bloom yet, so I have enjoyed looking at yours! I did bring some branches indoors, and that was a lovely experience!! I can hardly wait for the whole bush to spring into that glorious yellow!!
The one thing I love about forsythia is the fact that you can count on early blossoms. We don't have any but you've inspired me to try and grow them here. Zone 5.

Those are great closeups of the Forsythia - they are quit small! Love the color of them - they promise bright sun!
Forsythia seems popular among TF bloggers. No wonder really. A wonderful shrub and such pretty photos too.
You have very healthy and vibrant looking Forsythia Barbara, these are beautiful photos of them. Thank you for sharing.

Very pretty no luck for me with them though.
It's unique to see how they just emerge right from the small branch. forsythia is such a lovely shrub.

Bar, these are beautiful. I love Forsythis too, the drought killed my bigh bush this summer.
To me yellow is the colour of spring - as you have shown so well here.
Barbara, your photos of the Forsythia flowers are very well done. It is such a beautiful yellow encompassing and representing spring.
Barb: How I love that bush when it turns to a show of yellow.
